Bertha “Bert” Lacey LaMotte, of 397 Fall Creek Road, Freeville, NY passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2010. Survivors include her daughters, Kim and Karin LaMotte of Freeville; her brother, Carl (Marjorie) Lacey of McLean; a special sister, Wanda Hendrix of Cortland; a sister-in-law, Jane LaMotte of Woodstock, NY and many extended family members.

Private services will be held in the spring. Burial will be in McLean Rural Cemetery. Those wishing to remember Bertha are asked to consider a memorial to the McLean Community Church, P.O. Box 246, McLean, NY 13102 or the McLean Fire Dept. Rescue Squad, McLean, NY 13102. Perkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
