I am a niece of Uncle Art. I visited with him a few times while he was in Groton Nursing Home, as I had another relative living there. He was a very nice man, and I wish I had gotten to know him better.

Dana & Family;

 I was so sorry to learn of Cindy's passing. Although I only met her once at our company christmas party she seemed liked a very warm and caring woman.
I hope that all of the wonderful memories that you have created with her will get you all through this very difficult time. Just know that she is at peace now with no pain or suffering and is watching over all of you.

I met Daisy at the Twilight Women’s Golf League just a couple of years ago. As a new member, she greeted me with open arms and with a twinkle in her eyes, she introduced me to many of the gals on the League, making jokes about each person. Daisy had a wonderful sense of humor that kept the League on the right track...to be there just to have fun enjoying the company of others...we are going to miss our special Daisy...(which incidentally, is my favorite flower)...

Daisy has been the president of the golf league for as long as I have been playing in it....and I believe this is my 14th year! What a great job she did....welcoming new players, organizing the league and setting a great example of being not only a good player, but of great sportsmanship. She will be missed!! The league will play on but it won't be the same.

We met while I was in high school, on his birthday celebrated also by his brother Ed...he was a gentle soul then as he was at the end of his life. Though our marriage had taken different pathways, he was always there for our children, and finally in the passing years we had become friends once more. Helpful to all, not a complainer no matter how tired he was. He certainly enjoyed his gun hobby, the outdoors and had respect for the safety of the sport and for others. His love of animals and travel could be seen in his photographs, many that hang on our walls in our homes. I only wish we had more family time as our two grandkids were getting older and loved him for the activities he could have taught them. We did enjoy his 60th birthday all together and had gone on a holiday vacation, a cruise in the Bahamas just months before that. I loved him when I was a young girl. I respected him as the father to our two daughters, and I love him even in death. Floyd may you find eternal peace.

I met Daisy 3 years ago at my first ladies golf league meeting. She was so welcoming and kind from day 1. Always with a smile whenever I saw her, and you could see the love and respect of the people around her.
I'm going to miss seeing you every week for golf. FORE!!!!! (maybe you can help with a little breeze up there if you see my golf ball off course!)
