Dawn Thomas Hemenway, age 43, of Charles St., Cortland, NY passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the Cortland Regional Hospital. Dawn was born April 6, 1967 in Jamestown, NY. In 1986 she was graduated from Cortland High School and has been a life Cortland area resident. Dawn enjoyed art and writing poetry.
Survivors include her father, Edward Thomas; her husband, Scott Hemenway;her daughter, Alanna Hemenway and her brother, Jeff Thomas all of Cortland; an aunt, Ellen (Thomas) Lawrence. Dawn joins her mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Havens Thomas who died April 30, 2003.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Perkins
Funeral Home with Rev. Leslie A. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in
Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 AM
