Doris E. “Sissy” Boyton Goodband, age 61, of Flat Iron Road, Brooktondale, NY passed away Monday in Zephyrhills, FL. Doris was born Dec. 28, 1948 in Ithaca a daughter of the late Edward and Doris Stanton Boynton. Doris was the widow of Clayton Goodband who died in 2005. She was a resident of McLean prior to moving to Flat Iron Rd. in 1997. She had been employed years ago by NCR and Page Book Bindery. She enjoyed her family and loved to travel.
Survivors include her children, Chrystal “Gidget” Goodband and C. Barry (Brandy) Goodband both of Brooktondale; Grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth Goodband and Taylor C. Thompson; siblings, Calvin, Bobby, Ron, Dolly, Jeff and Mike Boynton and Diane Boynton Corder; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward “Geegee” Boynton.

Doris’s family will be present to receive their friends from 3 to 5 PM Friday at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Interment and services will be private. Friends may also gather at Punk’s Place in Candor, NY Friday at 6 Pm for a benefit. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
