Gloria L. Ozmun

October 28, 1929 - December 17, 2009
Ithaca NY

Born a day before the 1929 market crash (October 28, 1929), Gloria passed away on December 17, 2009 at the age of 80. Born in Ithaca, NY to Joseph and Elizabeth Lisseck, who predeceased her along with her brothers, Joseph and Lawrence, Gloria worked at WTKO Radio, Fall Creek School and at the Ithaca High School Board building, from where she retired after 32 years of service in 1991.
Gloria is survived by her three children, John (Constance) Ozmun, Debra (Arthur) Greenwood and Patricia (Douglas) Wolf; and one grandson, Conor Greenwood, who she loved very much. Gloria also leaves behind her niece, Bernice and her daughter, Sandra; along with her nephew, Paul (Kay) and their son, Eli.
She is also survived by her sweetheart of 30 years, Skip Morrison and his family, who brought her much fun and happiness. While on their annual vacations to Florida, Skip would tell any new friends they met that he and Gloria had nine children, because between them they had nine children and their families, and they all loved Gloria.
Gloria leaves behind many close friends and she will also miss her monthly lunches with the retired ladies. Gloria made her way in life never asking for much, but always thankful for what she received and the many close friends she made during her life.
