Janet L. Aagaard, 74, of 1719 Coddington Rd., Brooktondale, passed away Friday, January 15, 2010.
Janet worked at the accounting firm Maxfield, Randolph, and Carpenter from the late 1950′s until 1967. She and her husband owned and operated H & H Liquor & Wines on the Ithaca Commons from 1975 until 1990. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining and being with family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.
Janet is survived by her husband of 50 years, John S. Aagaard; her sons, Mike (Sally) Vose and John (Laura) Aagaard; her mother, Carol Lent; brothers, Glenn (Sarah) Ahart and Dale (Mary Jo) Lent; sister, Linda Ahart; grandchildren, Sara, Nathan, Vanessa and Kara and other extended family members.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church. Friends may call on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bangs Funeral Home.
