Margaret “Peggy” Jones, 91, formerly of Slaterville Rd., died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Alterra. She was born in town of Caroline, daughter of the late Leon and Evelyn Williams Jones and was the widow of Clinton A. Baker who died in 1997.
Peggy provided her family with a strong foundation of love and guidance, and great joy! We’ll especially cherish the many wonderful memories of holidays full of laughter and cheer. Peggy, the ultimate caregiver.
Peggy’s family is very grateful to the caregivers from Alterrs Sterling House, especially “Madora”, and Becky; Linda from private care and Hospicare.

Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Peggy's life at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Bangs Funeral Home. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Berkshire, will be delayed until spring. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may donate to Hospicare, 172 E. King Rd., Ithaca, N Y 14850.
