Marion Louise (Cook) Manuel died February 19, 2010 at Cortland Regional Medical Center after a long illness. She was 84. A Binghamton native, she was pre-deceased by her devoted husband Raymond. She is survived by daughters Holly ( Douglas) Nash and Heather (Curt) Burner, plus three grandchildren, Gradyn, Colin and Melissa; she is also survived by her sister Evelyn Slicklen.
Marion expressed compassion and love for everyone. She took great pride in her culinary skills and enjoyed teaching and sharing with others. She will be missed by her family both here and in Newfoundland. Canada where she and Ray spent many summers with family and friends. The family would like to thank everyone for their concern and support through this difficult time.
Memorial Information:
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson (Binghamton); with a memorial service following. Interment will take place at Vestal Hills Memorial Cemetery on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 10:am. Those wishing may consider making a donation to the American Diabetic Association.
