Peter R. Augustine, 78, of 800 S. Plain Street, Ithaca, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010, at the Cayuga Medical Center. Born in Geneva, NY on July 8, 1931, son of the late John and Mary Augustine Sr.
Peter was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He was also a veteran of the US Army.
Survivors include sons, Paul and Peter J. Augustine; daughters, Jan Zeilic, Valerie (Patrick) Koran and Elizabeth (Edward) Breaker; also grandchildren, Joseph, Tara, Ashley, Shelby, Joshua, Samuel and Ian; two brothers, John (Ann) Augustine Jr. and Kenneth Augustine; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial Information:
At Peter's wishes, there will be no public services or calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospicare of Tompkins County, 172 E. King Rd., Ithaca. Bangs Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
