Sheila Jo Wells, 42, of Newfield, NY, passed away Friday, February 26, 2010, at the Hospicare Residence of Tompkins County. Born May 7, 1967 in Ithaca, daughter of Carol Blatchley Cook and the late David Young.
Besides her mother, other survivors included her adopted father, Bernard Cook; husband, Ken Wells; a daughter, Cheryl Cole; a sister, Kristina Cook; brothers, Scott, Michael and Jason Cook; one nephew, Kelsey Kallstrom; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services with Rev. Bill Ritzenthellar officiating will be held Monday, March 1, 2010, at the Greensprings Natural Cemetery, Irish Hill Rd., Newfield, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Newfield Fire Dept. in her memory. Bangs Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
